Improv Comedy Beginners Course (8 Weeks)

Learn the basics of improvisation as a team in a fun and supportive series of workshops!

WHAT

Across eight weekly sessions, you will learn the core skills of improv while playing, laughing, and building confidence together. Like all Dingbats Improv workshops, this course focuses on learning by doing through games, group exercises, and scene work in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

We will explore key improv foundations including team play, generating ideas, listening, overcoming fear of failure, saying Yes And, building a clear platform, sharing control, and working in the here and now. Everything is taught through practical exercises, scenes, and fun short-form improv games.

There will also be an optional performance opportunity at the April Dingbats Improv Show on Friday 10th April at the Archway Theatre Studio.
